Astros place Carlos Correa (back) on 10-day DL
The Houston Astros are placing shortstop Carlos Correa (back) on the 10-day DL.
Correa hasn't played since Monday due to back stiffness, and while it doesn't sound serious, the Astros have decided to give him more time to recover. Marwin Gonzalez has been filling in at shortstop, and Alex Bregman could also see some time there.
Correa is batting .268/.352/.480 with 46 runs, 13 home runs, and 49 RBIs this season.
