Toronto's Josh Donaldson (calf) picks up baseball activities again
Toronto Blue Jays third baseman Josh Donaldson (calf) has resumed baseball activities.
Donaldson is running with no discomfort in his left calf, finally. He has been on the disabled list since May 29 and is still probably a couple weeks away from returning to the active roster. It's unclear at this point whether he'll be able to make it back before the July 31 trade deadline for the virtually out-of-it Blue Jays.
Our models project Donaldson to bat .245 with 6 home runs, 15 runs, and 15 RBI in 112 more plate appearances this year.
