Yoenis Cespedes (heels) to be placed on Mets' disabled list
Yoenis Cespedes (heels) is headed to the disabled list, per Mike Puma of the New York Post.
Cespedes recently missed two months with a hip flexor strain and only lasted one game before going down again. It looks like things are pointing towards the 32-year-old undergoing season-ending surgery.
Cespedes has been limited to 157 plate appearances in 38 games this season, and slashed .262/.325/.496 with 8 home runs and 28 RBI while averaging 11.5 FanDuel points per contest.
