Cincinnati Reds outfielder Jesse Winker will undergo season-ending shoulder surgery.

What It Means:

Winker has been dealing with lingering shoulder discomfort and he will take the necessary steps to address it. Phillip Ervin figures to continue drawing starts in the outfield for the Reds, at least until Scott Schebler (shoulder) returns.
