Cubs' Yu Darvish (elbow) throws 35-pitch bullpen session
Chicago Cubs starting pitcher Yu Darvish (elbow) threw a successful 35-pitch bullpen session on Tuesday afternoon.
Darvish said afterward that it was the first session he completed without experiencing any pain or discomfort from beginning to end. There's still some steps in the process but the soon-to-be 32-year-old right-hander could be back in the Cubs' rotation by the end of August.
Darvish averaged 27.4 FanDuel points and went 1-3 in eight starts before landing on the disabled list, while posting a 4.95 ERA with 49 strikeouts and 21 walks across 40 innings.
