Joey Votto (knee) out again for Reds on Wednesday afternoon
Cincinnati Reds first baseman Joey Votto (knee) remains out of the starting lineup on Wednesday against the New York Mets.
Votto is still dealing with the repercussions of a hit-by-pitch from Saturday. He's considered day-to-day and shouldn't need a stint on the disabled list. Brandon Dixon will start at first base again and bat seventh on Wednesday afternoon versus right-hander Jacob deGrom and the Mets.
Votto is averaging 10.5 FanDuel points per game this season, while slashing .289/.426/.427 with 9 home runs, 53 RBI, and 58 runs scored across 486 plate appearances.
