Andrew Romine will now start for the Mariners on Monday
Seattle Mariners infielder Andrew Romine will now get the start at second base against the Oakland Athletics on Monday night.
Dee Gordon was slated to start, but his shoulder is apparently bothering him enough to force him to sit. Robinson Cano is back tomorrow, so don't expect Romine to see a ton of work going forward.
Romine is hitting just .214 with a .503 OPS in 115 plate appearances for Seattle this season.
