James Paxton (forearm) placed on Mariners' disabled list
Seattle Mariners starting pitcher James Paxton is on the 10-day disabled list with a left forearm contusion.
Paxton suffered the injury during Tuesday's against the Oakland Athletics when he was hit on the throwing arm by a line drive in the bottom of the first inning. It's not clear how many starts he might miss while out. The Mariners may move Felix Hernandez back into the rotation to take Paxton's place.
Paxton has averaged 37.3 FanDuel points and gone 10-5 in 24 starts while recording a 3.68 ERA and 1.11 WHIP with 176 strikeouts and 37 walks across 139 1/3 innings this season.
