Ronald Acuña avoids structural damage in elbow, day-to-day for Braves
Atlanta Braves left fielder Ronald Acuña's X-rays on his left elbow came back negative.
Acuña was lifted from Wednesday night's game against the Miami Marlins shortly after getting plunked in the elbow by Jose Urena in the bottom of the first inning. The tremendous 20-year-old avoided major injury and is considered day-to-day.
Acuña is averaging 13.1 FanDuel points in 68 games for the Braves this season, while slashing .288/.348/.576 with 19 home runs, 43 RBI, 49 runs scored, and 8 steals across 290 plate appearances.
