Royals' Ryan O'Hearn starting on Thursday
Kansas City Royals first baseman/designated hitter Ryan O'Hearn is starting on Thursday versus the Toronto Blue Jays.
O'Hearn has hit a home run in each of his past two games. He will start at first base and bat seventh versus Blue Jays right-hander Sam Gaviglio on Thursday night. Lucas Duda will play designated hitter and Whit Merrifield will cover center field while Brett Phillips moves to the bench.
