Hunter Dozier sitting for Royals Tuesday
Kansas City Royals infielder Hunter Dozier is out of Tuesday's starting lineup against the Pittsburgh Pirates.
Dozier (back) went 1-for-4 with a double in his return to the starting lineup Monday against the Pirates after missing a pair of games over the weekend due to back soreness. The 27-year-old is batting .231/.281/.393 with 9 home runs and 29 RBI over 345 plate appearances this season. Alcides Escobar will replace him at third base on Tuesday.
