Jose Fernandez (hand) out for Angels against Astros
Los Angeles Angels first baseman Jose Fernandez (hand) is out of Sunday's starting lineup against the Houston Astros.
Fernandez left Saturday's loss to the Astros with a right hand contusion after being hit by a pitch. X-rays came back negative, so he should only need a day or so to recover. Jefry Marte will play first base and bat sixth versus Astros right-hander Charlie Morton in Sunday's series finale.
Fernandez is averaging 6.3 FanDuel points across his first 32 outings in the majors.
