NBA Power Rankings Update: The Oddly Efficient Oklahoma City Thunder

Despite their disappointing record, Russell Westbrook and the Thunder continue to crush the advanced stats.

The Oklahoma City Thunder and nERD are in love.

It's been a bumpy ride for the Thunder's newfangled Big Three of Russell Westbrook, Carmelo Anthony, and Paul George. Expected to be a Western Conference force, the Thunder sit at 12-13, and if the season ended today, they'd be planning a Caribbean trip rather than prepping for a first-round playoff series.

Does nERD care? Nah.

(nERD, for those of you new to the program, is our in-house metric that ranks teams on a scale from 0-100, with 50 as the league average. This ranking is predictive of the team's ultimate winning percentage. For more about nERD, visit our glossary.)

According to nERD, the Thunder are way more efficient than the Miami Heat, who sit 26th in this week's ranking, as opposed to OKC's six-spot -- this despite the fact that both teams have the same freakin' record.

But nERD loves what nERD loves. Which other team's captured nERD's fancy this week?
