3 NBA FanDuel Studs to Target on 2/7/18
Anthony Davis, C, New Orleans Pelicans
Price: $11,900
Anthony Davis is coming off his worst game since the New Orleans Pelicans lost DeMarcus Cousins for the year, notching only 39.7 FanDuel points while playing limited minutes in a blowout loss to the Utah Jazz.
A hiccup like that, especially in a nightmare matchup, doesn't do much to sour his outlook after he had notched at least 57 FanDuel points in six of his previous seven games. He's also still averaging a hefty 56.3 in 37.2 minutes through five contests played without Boogie on the year. For context, the highest per-game mark on the year is 54.0 FanDuel points.
This is a great bounce-back spot for The Brow, taking on an Indiana Pacers team that ranks 24th in rebound rate and 19th in defensive rating, which has led to them allowing top-three fantasy production to opposing centers.
The Pels' 111.5-point implied total is Wednesday's second-highest total, and this game is also projected to stay close based off the current three-point spread. Davis should be back to his usual workload, seeing minutes in the upper-30's, and with his elite efficiency in this great matchup, a workload like that gives him both an elite floor and ceiling.
