3 NBA FanDuel Studs to Target on 10/18/18

LeBron James isn't going to fly under the radar tonight in his Los Angeles Lakers debut, but he's well worth paying up for.

He may not have flashed the upside of guys like Anthony Davis and James Harden last season, but nobody was more consistent with their fantasy production than the King was. His 56 games with 50-plus FanDuel points were 5 more than anybody else posted, and his 28 with at least 60 were 3 more than anybody else. His 54.1 FanDuel points per game put him in third, only 1.0 behind the league lead.

There's some uncertainty here, with LeBron on a new team, but he averaged at least 50 FanDuel points per game in five of his seven seasons in his first stint with Cleveland, two of his four seasons with Miami, and each of his last two in Cleveland, so we know he can thrive in a variety of settings.

The Lakers are 3.5-point road underdogs against the Portland Trail Blazers to start the year, but this game has the day's highest over/under (222.0), and there should be plenty of scoring to go around on both sides.
