When a player's salary gets to $11,000 on DraftKings, you know they're playing at an insanely high level. When it gets to $12,000, you know that they've had to have been on a streak that only happens to a couple of players a year. When it gets to $13,000? Heck, are there words to describe how good a player has to have been to get there?

Love him or hate him, Houston Rockets guard James Harden is on a magical streak with teammate Chris Paul on the sidelines. Including the December 20 game against the Miami Heat in which Paul played just 12 minutes after getting hurt, Harden has put up at least 40 points 8 times in 13 games. That's one more than the next-closest player on the list, Anthony Davis, who has seven all season.

Harden is averaging 41.4 points in that 13-game span. Oh yeah, he's also tacking on 9.4 assists, 7.4 boards, 1.8 steals, 0.9 blocks and 6.3 triples on his way to averaging an unbelievable 72.1 DraftKings points per game. Sure, his $13,000 salary seems high, but it almost seems low when looking at that type of output.
