Anthony Davis, PF, New Orleans Pelicans

Expected to be in the New Orleans Pelicans' lineup (barring another injury) for the rest of the season, Anthony Davis' fantasy value is back.

We haven't seen him since January 18, but in eight games in 2019, Davis played an average of 36.8 minutes (actually down slightly from his 37.0 per game on the season), averaging a huge 66.3 FanDuel points per game.

Even with the highly-publicized absurd run James Harden has been on lately, Davis has the edge over Harden in fantasy scoring this year, putting up 62.6 FanDuel points per game to Harden's 60.0. Davis is on pace for the highest per-game fantasy average for any player in a single season in NBA history, per StatMuse.

Obviously there's some uncertainty in this spot. The Pels may keep his minutes in check to protect their top trade asset without much in the way of title hopes this year. But Davis has been so absurdly productive this year that it's worth rolling the dice a little bit in his return.

He also draws a reasonable matchup tonight, taking on a Minnesota Timberwolves team that ranks 16th in rebound rate and 18th in defensive rating.
