Ben Simmons, PG/SF, Philadelphia 76ers

DraftKings Price: $9,500

Philadelphia 76ers second-year star Ben Simmons usually dominates the run of play when teammate Joel Embiid misses time. That was not the case on Monday.

Perhaps Simmons was playing a cruel April Fool's Day prank on DFS players, but he ended up finishing with just 37.75 DraftKings points in a 122-102 loss to a Dallas Mavericks team that was playing without Luka Doncic.

Simmons will look to reset tonight when the Sixers travel to Georgia to take on the Atlanta Hawks. The Hawks may sit well out of the playoffs, but they've turned it on at the end of the season while others have faded. They've won four out of their past six, including wins over the Milwaukee Bucks, Utah Jazz, and the Sixers. They dropped a tight one to the San Antonio Spurs last night, but they were leading heading into the fourth, once again showing their resolve.

Simmons put up 21 points, 6 boards, 9 assists, 2 blocks, and 4 steals when the Sixers and Hawks played 11 days ago. It was the third game in a row and fifth in six career meetings that he's scored at least 52.0 DraftKings points. Our models currently have him with a baseline projection of 45.9 DraftKings points tonight, but with Embiid out and Jimmy Butler a game-time decision, he could blow past that projection quickly.
