One of the keys to finding success in daily fantasy basketball is uncovering potential value plays. If you're looking to roster a stud player or two, you need to consider squeezing in one of these lower-priced options into your lineup.

Let's take a look at five players who can help fill in the gaps in your lineup.

Austin Rivers, PG, Los Angeles Clippers

Austin Rivers has been lighting it up lately, shooting 55% from the field over his last four games. During that same span, he is averaging 15.8 points, 2.3 rebounds, and 1.8 assists. As the Los Angeles Clippers get closer to the playoffs, Rivers is being tasked with more minutes -- he's averaged 29.2 minutes over the last week.

Rivers has the seventh-highest projected value at his position on Thursday's slate.

Wesley Matthews, SG, Dallas Mavericks

Wesley Matthews' scoring has slowed down considerably since mid-February, but he has contributed in other areas. In addition to averaging 3.6 rebounds (the second-highest in his career), he's adding a career-high 2.6 assists per game, as well. Over his last two games, Matthews is putting up 11.5 points, 4 rebounds, 3.5 assists, and 1.5 steals.

The shooting guard is projected to net the fourth-most FanDuel points at his position tonight.

Maurice Harkless, SF, Portland Trail Blazers

The emergence of Noah Vonleh has momentarily shelved the productivity of Maurice Harkless, but he is still logging a healthy amount of minutes. Over his past three games, Harkless is averaging 6.7 points, 4.7 rebounds, and 1.7 assists in 29.8 minutes, along with adding 1.7 blocks.

According to our tools, Harkless is trending as tonight's second-hottest small forward, playing 35.49% above his season average in terms of fantasy points per night over the last five games.

Quincy Acy, PF, Brooklyn Nets

Quincy Acy has seen an uptick in minutes recently due to the absence of Trevor Booker. Acy has benefitted over his past four games with averages of 9.3 points, 5 rebounds, and 1.3 assists in 24.8 minutes. He's even knocked down 1.6 three-pointers on 46% efficiency in 11 of his last 12 games.

He has the highest projected value at his position and shares the fourth-best defense-versus-position matchup among all power forwards on Thursday night. At near-minimum salary, he is worth considering as a punt play.

Dewayne Dedmon, C, San Antonio Spurs

As the league inches closer to the postseason, the San Antonio Spurs will surely be a team expected to rest their main studs. Enter Dewayne Dedmon, who has done a commendable job as a backup. On the season, he has per-36 averages of 10.8 points, 13.2 rebounds, 1.0 steal, and 1.6 blocks.

Dedmon has the second-highest projected value among all centers playing tonight. Priced at minimum salary, he's a great option to help allocate more money to other parts of your roster.
