NBA Daily Fantasy Helper for the Two-Day 5/20/17 and 5/21/17 Slate

Stephen Curry has stepped up his game during the playoffs and leads the way for point guards on this two-day slate. Which other players should be on our radar?

If you're new to daily fantasy basketball -- maybe you started your DFS journey during the MLB or NFL seasons, or maybe basketball is your sport and this will be your first year giving it a shot -- you're in for a treat. The NBA scene changes hugely on a week-to-week, day-to-day, and depending on injury news, even a minute-to-minute basis, making every slate a unique one that requires an ever-changing approach.

With so much changing so quickly, we're here with plenty of tools to help you out. We have daily projections, a matchup heat map, a lineup optimizer and a handful of other awesome tools to help give you an edge.

We'll also be coming at you with a primer every day, breaking down a few of the day's top plays at each price point.

Let's take a look at who you should target on this two-day slate, which includes tonight's Game 3 in San Antonio and Sunday's Game 3 in Cleveland.

Best of the Best

LeBron James ($12,500): You're probably tired of seeing LeBron headlining playoff DFS articles by this point, but it is hard to justify fading the floor and upside combo that James posses. Even in a 44-point blowout win in Game 2 in which he played just 33 minutes, James still put up 58.3 FanDuel points. He now has reached at least 50 FanDuel points in every playoff game on his way to helping the Cleveland Cavaliers to a 10-0 record this postseason.

James has averaged a ridiculous 41.5 minutes per game in the playoffs, even though Cavs have been involved in quite a few blowout victories. The Cavs return home for Game 3, and there is legitimate reason to be worried about a blowout after watching the first two games of this series. However, James has shown he has the floor to be usable in blowouts and the ceiling -- he's averaging 59 FanDuel points per game in the playoffs -- to be worth the salary. He is easily the top play on the board.
