NBA Daily Fantasy Helper: Tuesday 12/4/18

Injury woes leave the Suns' lineup offering a ton of value on tonight's five-game slate. Where else should you look on Tuesday?

If you're new to daily fantasy basketball -- maybe you started your DFS journey during the MLB or NFL seasons, or maybe basketball is your sport and this will be your first year giving it a shot -- you're in for a treat. The NBA scene changes hugely on a week-to-week, day-to-day, and -- depending on injury news -- even a minute-to-minute basis, making every slate a unique one that requires an ever-changing approach.

With so much changing so quickly, we're here with plenty of tools to help you out. We have daily projections, a matchup heat map, a lineup optimizer, and a ton of other great resources to help give you an edge.

We'll also be coming at you with this primer every day, breaking down a few of the day's top plays at each price point.

Let's take a look at who you should target on today's main slate.

Best of the Best

Nikola Vucevic ($9,900): Vooch leads the slate and ranks 12th in the NBA with a career-best 44.5 FanDuel points per game. His production has been especially strong recently, ranking eighth in the NBA with 50.0 per game over the last three weeks. He's producing all over the stat-sheet, averaging 21.0 points, 11.3 boards, 3.8 assists and 2.1 combined blocks and steals per game on the year. That ability to contribute everywhere helps give his floor a boost even in a tough matchup with the Miami Heat. We've also seen that his ceiling is among the elite, having topped 70 FanDuel points only four games ago. We project Vucevic for the slate's highest fantasy score.
