NBA Daily Fantasy Helper: Sunday 3/10/19

Julius Randle is an elite option on a loaded six-game slate. Who else should you roster?

If you're new to daily fantasy basketball -- maybe you started your DFS journey during the MLB or NFL seasons, or maybe basketball is your sport and this will be your first year giving it a shot -- you're in for a treat. The NBA scene changes hugely on a week-to-week, day-to-day, and -- depending on injury news -- even a minute-to-minute basis, making every slate a unique one that requires an ever-changing approach.

With so much changing so quickly, we're here with plenty of tools to help you out. We have daily projections, a matchup heat map, a lineup optimizer, and a ton of other great resources to help give you an edge.

We'll also be coming at you with this primer every day, breaking down a few of the day's top plays at each price point.

Let's take a look at who you should target on today's main slate, which starts at 6:00 p.m. EST and features six games.

Best of the Best

Julius Randle ($9,100): The masses may go to the cheaper John Collins at the same position, but this is a great spot for Randle, and he is due for a massive output in points. Minutes are not a concern anymore due to the thinned out rotation for the New Orleans Pelicans, and he has played more than 30 minutes in all but one game over the last eight. He has scored 50.7 or more FanDuel points in four of those games, highlighting his massive ceiling. In a fast-paced affair between two poor teams that will likely be incredibly competitive, Randle checks a lot of boxes, and while he doesn't have the ceiling that James Harden or Stephen Curry does, he is a strong pivot off Collins, who should be chalky after last night's big game.
