What It Means:
Irving was held out of the team's preseason finale on Saturday but it seems that was more of precaution than anything else. His 2017-18 season ended prematurely due to a separate knee injury.
He is tied for the eighth-most valuable guard spot in our preseason fantasy basketball projections.
