Russell Westbrook (knee) remains uncertain for Thunder opener
Oklahoma City Thunder point guard Russell Westbrook's (right knee) status remains uncertain for Tuesday's regular-season opener against the Warriors.
“Every day he’s done a little bit more, but they want to evaluate after he does workouts to see how he’s feeling,” head coach Billy Donovan said following Monday's practice. Westbrook is listed as out on the game notes and there hasn't been any indication that he's been cleared for full contact, so it appears he will sit versus Golden State.
numberFire's models currently project Westbrook to average 27.7 points, 10.2 rebounds, 10.1 assists, 1.8 steals, and 1.7 3-pointers per game this season.
