Clippers to waive Alexis Ajinca (knee) after reported trade
The Los Angeles Clippers have reportedly acquired forward/center Alexis Ajinca from the New Orleans Pelicans in exchange for guard/forward Wesley Johnson, reports Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.
What It Means:
Ajinca will be waived. The 30-year-old still hasn't been cleared to play after undergoing knee surgery in March.
Ajinca has averaged 5.3 points and 3.9 rebounds over 293 games (76 starts) in his career.
