Gordon Hayward scores 10 points for Celtics in return
Boston Celtics guard/forward Gordon Hayward made 4-of-12 field goals (1-of-3 3-pointers) for 10 points with 5 rebounds and 4 steals over 24.6 minutes in a 105-87 season-opening win over the Philadelphia 76ers.
Hayward admitted he isn't 100 percent back from his ankle injury but this was an encouraging performance after the long layoff. He is expected to remain on a 25-30 minute limit to start the year. The Celtics visit Kawhi Leonard and the Toronto Raptors on Friday.
Hayward scored 28.0 FanDuel points on Tuesday. numberFire's models projected him for 21.1 FanDuel points before the game.
