Ben Simmons (back) doubtful for 76ers Tuesday
Philadelphia 76ers guard/forward Ben Simmons (lower back tightness) is doubtful to play Tuesday night against the Detroit Pistons, head coach Brett Brown said.
Simmons left Saturday's game early with tightness in his lower back after initially attempting to play through it and has since missed Monday's practice and Tuesday's shootaround. Brown said Markelle Fultz will start at point guard if Simmons is ruled out. J.J. Redick and T.J. McConnell would also see a boost.
Simmons is averaging 41.7 FanDuel points per game this season. numberFire's models project him to record 16.6 points, 8.6 rebounds, 9.8 assists, 1.7 steals, and 1.0 blocks in 34.9 minutes per game this season.
