Dallas Mavericks guard Dennis Smith Jr. (ankle) has been ruled out on Friday night.
What It Means:
Smith tweaked his ankle against the Atlanta Hawks on Wednesday but was expected to play against the Toronto Raptors. Hopefully, it is just precautionary, and the point guard didn't suffer a setback. Epext Luka Doncic to see extra run as the primary ball handler with Smith out with J.J. Barea likely making a start.
Smith has averaged 13.8 points, 3.8 rebounds, 5.2 assists, and 26.9 FanDuel points per game this season.
