Miami's James Johnson (sports hernia) remains without a timetable for return
Miami Heat forward James Johnson (sports hernia) remains without a timetable for return.
Johnson underwent surgery to repair a sports hernia this offseason and has yet to make his 2018-19 season debut. With Johnson out of action for the foreseeable future, Kelly Oylynk and Derrick Jones Jr. will continue to get the bulk of the power forward minutes in Miami.
Our models project Johnson for 11.2 points, 4.9 rebounds, 3.8 assists, and 1.1 steals in 27.0 minutes per game when he returns.
