Dragan Bender has his fourth-year option declined by Phoenix
Phoenix Suns forward Dragan Bender had his fourth-year option declined on Tuesday.
Bender entered the league with high hopes as the number-four pick in the 2016 NBA Draft. His progression hasn't moved as quickly as the Suns had hoped, despite multiple coaching changes. Bender is still only 20 years old and will look to continue his development with another team next season after falling out of the Suns' rotation so far this season.
Bender averaged 6.5 points and 4.4 rebounds in 25.2 minutes per game last season with Phoenix.
