Dwight Howard (back) confirms Wizards debut for Friday
Washington Wizards forward/center Dwight Howard (back) said he will make his season debut on Friday versus the Oklahoma City Thunder.
Howard said it still hurts to sit down, so he will lay on the floor during games until the pain subsides. His return will shift Ian Mahinmi to the bench and take minutes away from Jason Smith. The Wizards went 1-6 with Howard sidelined.
numberFire's models currently project Howard for 12.7 points, 10.6 rebounds, and 1.3 blocks per game this season.
