Nets' DeMarre Carroll (ankle) 'getting real close' to season debut
Brooklyn Nets forward DeMarre Carroll (ankle) is "getting real close" to a return, head coach Kenny Atkinson said.
Carroll went "pretty hard" at Monday's practice, per Atkinson. It sounds like the 32-year-old may be able to make his season debut this week. The Nets visit the Phoenix Suns on Tuesday and then open a road back-to-back against the Denver Nuggets and Golden State Warriors on Friday.
numberFire's models currently project Carroll to average 13.4 points, 6.1 rebounds, and 2.0 3-pointers in 28.9 minutes per game this season.
