Gordon Hayward to play for Celtics Thursday and Friday
Boston Celtics guard/forward Gordon Hayward is expected to play in both games of the upcoming back-to-back set, said head coach Brad Stevens.
It will be Hayward's first back-to-back of the season. The Celtics face the Phoenix Suns on Thursday and then dance with the Utah Jazz on Friday. Hayward has gotten off to a slow start, with averages of 10.1 points, 5.8 rebounds, 2.2 assists, 0.9 steals, and 1.2 3-pointers on just 40.2 percent shooting from the field.
Hayward is also averaging 22.7 FanDuel points through nine games. numberFire's models expect things to get better, as we have him pegged for 19.9 points, 5.0 rebounds, 3.7 assists, 1.1 steals, and 2.0 3-pointers per game over the rest of the year.
