Stephen Curry's (groin) MRI 'encouraging', ruled out for Warriors Saturday
Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry's (groin) MRI was "encouraging," head coach Steve Kerr said.
Curry will not play on Saturday versus the Brooklyn Nets but it sounds like he avoided serious injury. Quinn Cook will join the starting lineup with Curry sidelined and Klay Thompson could see a few more shots on offense. The Warriors' next game will be on Monday versus the Los Angeles Clippers.
Steph is averaging 46.1 FanDuel points per game this season. He's putting up 29.5 points, 5.0 rebounds, 6.1 assists, and 1.0 steals on a 51.5 completion percentage. Curry is also making 5.2 treys at an outrageous 49.2 percent clip.
