Spurs' Pau Gasol (foot) recovering from a stress fracture

San Antonio Spurs forward/center Pau Gasol has been out due to a stress fracture in his right foot, according to Gregg Popovich.

What It Means:

Gasol has been out since Nov. 4, and the cause up to this point was unknown other than a vague foot injury. Now that we know the reason, it appears as though Gasol could be out indefinitely.

In nine games this season, Gasol has averaged 6.8 points, 6.1 rebounds, 3.3 assists and 1.0 blocks per game.
