Hornets' Malik Monk (quad) 'very limited' at Thursday's practice
Charlotte Hornets shooting guard Malik Monk (right quad contusion) was "very limited" at Thursday's practice, head coach James Borrego said.
Monk suffered the injury on Wednesday and now his status for Friday's matchup with the Utah Jazz is in the air. Dwayne Bacon and Jeremy Lamb may be in line for extended minutes if Monk sits.
Monk is averaging 17.8 FanDuel points through 20 games this season, with 11.1 points, 1.8 rebounds, 2.2 assists, 0.6 steals, and 1.9 3-pointers per contest.
