Lonzo Ball triple-doubles as Lakers hammer Hornets
Los Angeles Lakers point guard Lonzo Ball scored 16 points (7-of-11 field goals, 2-of-4 3-pointers) with 10 rebounds, 10 assists, 5 steals, 1 block, and 2 turnovers in 34.9 minutes of a 128-100 win over the Charlotte Hornets on Saturday.
It was Ball's first triple-double of the season. He and LeBron James became the first Lakers teammates to accomplish the feat in the same game since Magic Johnson and Kareem Abdul-Jabaar did it back in 1982. The most recent duo to do it was Jason Kidd and Vince Carter with the New Jersey Nets during the 2007 season. Saturday's matchup was the front end of a back-to-back set, which the Lakers will close out versus the Wizards in Washington on Sunday.
Lonzo finished with a season-best 59.0 FanDuel points in the victory. numberFire's models project him for 28.9 FanDuel points, at a cost of $6,900, on Sunday.
