Robert Covington (ankle) to miss 'extended period' for Timberwolves
Minnesota Timberwolves forward Robert Covington will miss an "extended period" due to a bone bruise on his right ankle, head coach Tom Thibodeau said.
The injury isn't expected to require surgery, but Thibodeau didn't provide a precise timeline for Covington's return. Josh Okogie will likely continue to start for the Timberwolves in the meantime.
