Andrew Wiggins' season-high 40 points lead Timberwolves past Thunder
Minnesota Timberwolves guard/forward Andrew Wiggins scored a season-high 40 points (11-of-24 field goals, 16-of-18 free throws) with 10 rebounds, 4 assists, 1 steal, 1 block, 2 3-pointers, and 1 turnover in 37.6 minutes of a 119-117 win over the Oklahoma City Thunder on Tuesday.
The rebounds and free throws also set new season-highs for Wiggins, whose athleticism should bode well in a more up-tempo offense under new coach Ryan Saunders. Over the past five games, Wiggins is averaging 27.0 points, 4.0 rebounds, 3.2 assists, and 1.8 triples. The Timberwolves host the Dallas Mavericks on Friday.
Wiggins finished with a season-best 63.0 FanDuel points. He's averaging 29.6 FanDuel points through 37 games overall.
