Detroit's Ish Smith (groin) makes an early exit on Friday
Detroit Pistons guard Ish Smith will not return on Friday against the Miami Heat after experiencing tightness in his groin.
Smith was playing just his second game since sitting out a month with a groin injury. It does not appear that Smith re-injured himself but only the Pistons using extra caution on Friday. Expect Jose Calderon to see extra minutes with Smith out of action.
Smith finished the game with no stats in two minutes of play.
