Pelicans' Elfrid Payton (ankle) ruled out for Tuesday
New Orleans Pelicans guard Elfrid Payton (ankle) will not play Tuesday versus the Houston Rockets.
Payton's injury leaves the Pelicans extremely shorthanded with Anthony Davis, Julius Randle, Nikola Mirotic, and E'Twaun Moore all sitting out. Tim Frazier is likely to make a start with Frank Jackson and Ian Clark seeing extra minutes off the bench.
Payton has averaged 9.8 points, 5.8 assists, and 24.8 FanDuel points per game this season.
