Luka Doncic (ankle) ruled out for shorthanded Mavericks Thursday in Detroit
Dallas Mavericks small forward Luka Doncic (ankle) has been ruled out for Thursday's game against the Detroit Pistons.
The Mavericks shipped Dennis Smith Jr., DeAndre Jordan, and Wesley Matthews to the New York Knicks earlier Thursday, so they will be working with a 10-man roster in Detroit. Jalen Brunson, Dorian Finney-Smith, Maxi Kleber, and Dwight Powell could all draw starts, while Harrison Barnes will likely be busy on offense.
Doncic is averaging 37.9 FanDuel points through 49 NBA games. numberFire's models expect him to record 18.9 points, 4.4 rebounds, 5.7 assists, 1.4 steals, and 1.8 triples per contest over the remainder of the year.
