Eric Gordon (knee soreness) ruled out for Rockets Monday
Houston Rockets shooting guard Eric Gordon (right knee soreness) will not play versus the Phoenix Suns on Monday.
Gordon made an early exit in each of Houston's last two games, so it makes sense to give him a breather against the lowly Suns. James Ennis is a candidate to start and Gerald Green could also see more run. Rockets head coach Mike D'Antoni says Gordon will return on Wednesday against the Sacramento Kings.
Gordon is averaging 23.5 FanDuel points through 41 games (27 starts). numberFire's models expect him to record 17.6 points, 3.5 rebounds, 2.4 assists, 0.8 steals, and 1.4 triples per contest over the remainder of the year.
