Wayne Ellington traded with Tyler Johnson from Miami to Phoenix

The Miami Heat traded shooting guard Wayne Ellington and guard Tyler Johnson to the Phoenix Suns in exchange for forward/center Ryan Anderson.

What It Means:

Ellington fell out of the rotation in Miami, but he's not guaranteed much of a role in Phoenix either. It's possible that he's flipped again before Thursday's deadline or bought out. The veteran turned 31 in November.

Ellington averaged 15.0 FanDuel points over 21.3 minutes in 25 games (12 starts) for the Heat this season.
