Kings' Iman Shumpert headed to Houston as part of three-team trade

Sacramento Kings guard/forward Iman Shumpert has been traded to the Houston Rockets as part of a three-team deal according to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.

What It Means:

Shumpert heads to Houston, while Marquese Chriss, Brandon Knight, and a first-round pick go to the Cleveland Cavaliers with Alec Burks and a second-round pick landing in Sacramento. Shumpert will provide the Rockets with much-needed depth on the wing as they prepare for a playoff run.

Shumpert has averaged 8.9 points, 3.1 rebounds, and 2.2 assists in 26.2 minutes per game this season.
