Grizzlies reportedly deal Garrett Temple to Clippers
The Los Angeles Clippers acquired guard Garrett Temple and power forward JaMychal Green from the Memphis Grizzlies in exchange for guard Avery Bradley, reports Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.
What It Means:
Temple, 31, may not see as much playing time for the Clippers, who appear to be more focused on making a big splash in free agency than earning a playoff bid. He averaged 31.2 minutes as an every-night starter in Memphis. The veteran is expected to return any day from a shoulder injury that has sidelined him since January 25.
Temple averaged 18.7 FanDuel points over 49 games for the Grizzlies, with 9.4 points, 3.1 rebounds, 1.4 assists, 1.0 steals, 0.5 blocks, and 1.5 triples per contest.
