Gordon Hayward (ankle) unlikely to play for Celtics Thursday
Boston Celtics guard/forward Gordon Hayward (ankle) is unlikely to play on Thursday versus the Milwaukee Bucks, believes head coach Brad Stevens.
Hayward injured his ankle on Tuesday during a 1-on-1 workout. Terry Rozier and Semi Ojeleye stand to benefit if Hayward is sidelined. Tip-off is scheduled for 8:00 pm ET on Thursday.
Hayward posted 24.1 FanDuel points in 53 games (17 starts) before the break. numberFire's models expect him to record 11.7 points, 3.8 boards, 3.0 dimes, 1.0 steals, and 2.0 triples per contest over the remainder of the year.
