Gordon Hayward posts 30 points as Celtics clobber Warriors
Boston Celtics guard/forward Gordon Hayward scored 30 points (12-of-16 field goals, 2-of-2 free throws) with 7 rebounds, 4 assists, 2 steals, and 4 3-pointers, over 27.7 minutes in a 128-95 steamrolling of the Golden State Warriors on Tuesday.
Hayward logged less than 20 minutes in the previous game and had failed to score in double-digits in his preceding five outings. The Celtics, who had lost five of their previous six games, are now 18-2 this season when Hayward shoots 50.0 percent or better from the field. If he turns in another strong showing on Wednesday in Sacramento versus the Kings, Boston may be able to get back on track just in time for the postseason.
Hayward finished with 50.4 FanDuel points in the win, his second-highest output of the season. numberFire's models expect him to score 22.9 FanDuel points, at a cost of $4,500, in the second half of the Celtics' back-to-back set on Wednesday.
