Kyrie Irving (thigh) ruled out for Celtics versus Kings Wednesday night
Boston Celtics guard Kyrie Irving has been ruled out for Wednesday's game against the Sacramento Kings due to a left thigh contusion.
Irving looked fine during Tuesday's 128-95 demolition of the Golden State Warriors, as he logged 34.2 minutes and scored 19 points (7-of-15 field goals, 3-of-4 free throws) with 5 rebounds, 11 assists, and 2 steals. He was a late addition to the injury report, so the Celtics may be opting to give Irving a maintenance day in the second half of a back-to-back set. Terry Rozier will likely draw the start in Irving's place.
Kyrie is averaging 43.1 FanDuel points per game. numberFire's models expect him to record 26.2 points, 5.4 rebounds, 6.4 assists, 1.6 steals, 0.6 blocks, and 1.8 triples per contest over the remainder of the year.
