Charlotte Hornets point guard Kemba Walker scored 40 points (14-of-20 field goals, 6-of-7 free throws) with 10 rebounds, 7 assists, 1 block, 6 3-pointers, and 4 turnovers in 40.5 minutes of a 118-106 loss to the Houston Rockets on Monday.

Walker led the contest in scoring while helping make up for the absences of Nicolas Batum (eye), Michael Kidd-Gilchrist (knee), Marvin Williams (illness), Cody Zeller (knee), and Tony Parker (rest).
