Kemba Walker flirts with 40-point triple-double, Hornets fall in Houston
Charlotte Hornets point guard Kemba Walker scored 40 points (14-of-20 field goals, 6-of-7 free throws) with 10 rebounds, 7 assists, 1 block, 6 3-pointers, and 4 turnovers in 40.5 minutes of a 118-106 loss to the Houston Rockets on Monday.
Walker led the contest in scoring while helping make up for the absences of Nicolas Batum (eye), Michael Kidd-Gilchrist (knee), Marvin Williams (illness), Cody Zeller (knee), and Tony Parker (rest). He also recorded his second points-rebounds double-double of the season. The Hornets don't play again until Friday, on the road against the Washington Wizards.
Kemba scored 61.5 FanDuel points in the loss, his fourth-highest output on the season. He's averaging 41.4 FanDuel points through 67 games overall.
